Telephone and Remote assistance

Deskside assistance
There will be times when face to face support is needed. Depending on the size of your company, and at times culture, we have people based at your premises full-time, part-time or occasionally when you need on-site support.
Our people are personable and trained to a high level, both technically and with our unique customer service skills.
Server management and administration
If your network or servers are malfunctioning then the productivity of your business is affected. The data on your servers is price-less, to suffer a loss of data would be catastrophic to your business.
We understand this. We therefore proactively manage our clients’ network and check their data backups each day, including Saturday mornings. Our daily checks are completed before your business day starts, so we can remedy any issues that may have occurred overnight.Â
Included in the service is a monthly on-site health check. This is preventative maintenance for your network servers, which includes applying the latest Microsoft patches and housekeeping operations.

ihotdesk take care of support and administration of your Mitel or Avaya telephone system. Whether it is making changes to a particular telephone extension, adding someone to group pickup or a fault with a handset or line. We resolve the issue so you can get on with business.
Application and database support

ICT manager

ihotdesk have several consultants that perform the role of ICT Manager for our clients. These assignments are typically part-time and are for one or two days per week. The ICT manager works at board and senior management level within your business, so to understand your company plans. The IT manager then builds an ICT roadmap to ensure that your IT and Communications systems can support the company plan.
The ICT manager will assume the position of interface between the IT and Communication functions and suppliers to your business and your employees. The ICT manager will give direction to your suppliers, deal with service escalations and priority setting and lead any projects and change programmes.
Occasionally large clients use us for interim IT manager assignments, which allow them time to hire a full-time recruit.

Managed email security

On-line Data Backup
ihotdesk recommend daily backup to tape, which is the fastest method to recover your systems in the event of a major system failure. However, online backup, where your most recently changed documents and files are automatically copied to a secure data vault off-site each night, is an effective way to keep a copy of your data off-site.Â
Disaster Recovery
ihotdesk will help you to define a business continuity plan that will keep the essential ICT services running in the event of a disaster impacting your business. Once the plan is defined, we can help develop the solution. This could involve ihotdesk hosting warm-standby servers for your business or engaging a specialist third party.
Once the solution is in place, we perform an annual test on behalf of our clients, so to prove the process and provide the necessary sign-off for your auditors.

It is essential that your business is correctly licensed for the software that you use. ihotdesk perform an audit of what software is installed and used, reconciling this with the software licenses that you have purchased.
