Position: IT Service Representative

Location: London

What we are looking for

We require an accomplished Service Representative to deliver Deskside and Server support and project implementation to a range of our clients within London. You will be based from our London office, but spend the vast majority of your time out on our client sites.

You will have at least three years commercial SME IT experience, having supported a varied base of small to medium sized clients, worked with Windows 2000/XP, Active Directory, Anti Virus, backups and Exchange. Knowledge of the following would be beneficial: routers, switches, firewalls (Sonicwall), VPN’s, TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting. You will be able to install an Windows 2003 server with your eyes closed, but also carry out a restore from backup in a similar amount of time.

Essential Skills

• MCSE in Windows 2000/2003 or equitant experience.
• At least 3 year experience of providing field based support for desktops and servers (6 of this must be in the UK)
• Experience of supporting customers remotely via the telephone
• Experience of protecting and recovering systems using backup tapes
• Practical experience of project management of a system through the entire life-cycle to successful implementation
• Past experience of working alone and being self-managed
• Proven experience of producing and maintaining technical documentation
• Well-developed problem solving skills
• Easy access to London
