ihotdesk will consult with you to ascertain your specific IT needs and then be on hand to setup your computers when you arrive.

The service includes some or all of the following:
- Connect and configure computers
- Install software e.g. MS office
- Connect and configure USB and network printers
- Setup shared printing
- Configure basic router/firewalls with information provided by Avanta regarding IP and DNS addresses
- Set up secure wireless network if needed
- Configure connection to POP3 mailboxes
- Health check on all PCs which includes: updating anti-virus software, installing windows updates, check backups, test UPS
- Provide a list of tasks completed with all settings and processes
The half-day Getting IT Started service provides up to 3.5 hours onsite, if you have 5 or more PC’s a full-day may be required.
