Brazilian IT outsourcing market set for growth |

Brazil's IT infrastructure outsourcing market is expected to enjoy substantial growth over the coming years, claims a new report. Figures from Frost & Sullivan indicate that the country's IT outsourcing sector will generate revenues of $3.3 billion in 2012, significantly up on the $1.1 billion recorded last year. It is thought that the introduction of open communication networks allied with opportunities to manage a variety of different networks remotely will be behind the buoyant figures. Frost & Sullivan analyst Marcelo Kawanami has warned IT outsourcers that they will have to fight for contracts. "Competition in this market has increased due to the presence of many participants with diversified portfolios," he said. "IT infrastructure outsourcing providers are looking for complete end-to-end outsourcing contracts, bundling high-margin services to overcome price deflation in the market." Brazil is widely regarded as South America's main region for IT outsourcing. © Adfero Ltd |
