A leading provider of outsourcing services in Russia has announced that it has enjoyed a high staff retention rate in the past year.

Luxoft, which has more than 1,900 employees in the country, held on to 94 per cent of its staff last year, it revealed this week.

The figures are perhaps an indication of how firms providing IT outsourcing in London could look to improve their in-house policies.

"We put a lot of emphasis on providing a workplace that makes our employees want to stay and grow with us," remarked Dmitry Loschinin, president of the company.

"One of the most exciting outcomes is the ability to offer our clients a consistent team that knows their business and work culture, deeply understands their industry and their systems and truly cares about the success of an engagement as much as they do."

He added that focusing on employee retention allows the company to maintain a high level of customer retention as well.

The firm was the only IT firm to receive a Best Employer in Russia award last year.
