Posted by Steven Gaskill Innovation is one of the key elements that IT outsourcing can bring to a company, an expert has said. Beth Bacheldor, writing for sourcingmag.com, said innovation was one of the key priorities of business looking to outsource their IT and business process. She revealed that the majority of businesses "put the ability to transform processes and provide innovation as either critical or quite important attributes" when looking at outsourcing. Suppliers can offer this innovation in tangible ways and implement systems which can radically improve the efficiency of businesses. Clients, however, need to make clear what they wish to gain from outsourcing their IT requirements, as an open dialogue between the two parties is crucial for a productive working relationship, she added. Dan Raywood, SC Magazine's online news editor, said any companies considering using cloud computing technologies should ensure they can find trustworthy providers to meet their security needs. ![]() |
