IT outsourcing increases productivity

Outsourcing provides businesses with a cost-effective solution to their IT needs and increases productivity, a leading chief executive officer (CEO) has said.

Cery Perle, CEO of Spare Backup, computer security specialist, told CBR IT Services that his company was planning to outsource some of its IT and software development functions in a bid to improve its service.

"We believe this outsourcing will help us reduce our annual operating costs and as the same time continue to expand our distribution model to accommodate increased customer expansion," he told the IT news provider.

The company's growth has led to increased demands on its IT infrastructure and Mr Perle said outsourcing represented the best option going forward, and he was confident any new partners of the business would add value with their expertise.

Spare Backup specialises in helping consumers, mostly from small to mid-sized businesses, protect their data from the threat of viruses.
