Ensim wins unified communications award

Ensim Unify Shared Edition has received the 2008 Unified Communications Excellence Award from an industry magazine. The solution, which was co-developed with Microsoft, allows service providers to create and control hosted internet protocol and applications services centrally, the firm says. "Ensim has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. Unified Communications is pleased to grant a 2008 Unified Communications Excellence Award to its Ensim Unify," said Rich Tehrani, editor of Unified Communications magazine. He added that the publication anticipates more innovations from the firm in the future and is pleased to honour it achievements. Last month, AltiGen Communications announced that it had released a new VoIP phone system. The Max2000 - an upgrade to the firm's existing platforms - includes increased host processor speed and support for as many as 200 users, plus integrated storage and power redundancy. AltiGen says the technology offers increased protection against power outages.  |
