Google is set to launch a software package that delivers a word application and a spreadsheet program.

Moving on from focusing on search engines, Google has opted to provide a functional alternative to the current software offerings.

The package is aimed at the standard PC user who isn't too concerned about updating to new and enhanced programs straight away.

Google has expanded at a fast rate in recent months, building on the success of its search engine site.

An agreement with NewsCorp to deliver search options for MySpace saw the company branching out into contracts with more mainstream media.

Google's applications could be utilised to some extent by IT support in London to improve communications and networking, analysts claim.

Many companies in London are choosing to outsource IT support in an effort to improve efficiency and productivity.

This can save on overheads as well as improving capacity without having to train new staff and expand and existing premises.

Ihotdesk offer a range of outsourcing services for IT support in London IT support London.
