Microsoft has appointed John Fikany vice president of the company’s US Manufacturing Industries.

Microsoft Industries include a vast array of sectors such as aerospace, automotive, consumer packaged goods, general manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, industrial equipment, oil and gas, transportation, and utilities. Mr Fikany will responsible for these sectors and will be overseeing their future development.

Jens Moberg, corporate vice president of the U.S. Enterprise and Partner group at Microsoft, stated: "I am very pleased to announce John Fikany’s promotion to vice president of US Manufacturing. John is an outstanding leader driven by a passion for his customers and a shared vision for their success."
